my game won\t run in fullscreen.
when the fullscreen/mode is activated i only get a almost maximized window, instead of fullscreen.
if i use windowed mode it works ok.

You're not running in safemode are you? Also check your command-line options on the shortcut.

Do you use buggy windows replacement like windows blinds? (if yes, put Uplink in the exclusion list)
