Linux problem

Postby ehird » Fri Nov 03, 2006 1:24 pm

Couldn't think of a better place to put this. But I copied uplink linux files to /var/lib/uplink/, and set the required permissions. Then in /usr/bin I made a batch script to cd to /var/lib/uplink and ./uplink. Upon loading uplink I get this error:

Code: Select all

/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6 /usr/X11R6/lib/libXi.so.6 ./libfreopen-override.so.0.0.0
ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/X11R6/lib/libXmu.so.6' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/X11R6/lib/libXi.so.6' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored.
./uplink.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any ideas?

w/ patch it changes resolution in KDE then crashes, leaving me without the kicker and a weird noise coming out of the cpu. i have to hard-reboot.

Most likely your video card driver is bad.
