1.45 Bug with IPLookup and Map

Postby Immortius » Sun Sep 03, 2006 10:53 pm

If you use IPLookup with the large map open, the point that gets added cannot be clicked on until the map is closed and reopened.

Another extremely minor bug - ARC's internal service machines' link page contains links to all the Darwin machines.

Later I was searching for ARC on Internic and then it hit me - Darwin ReseARCh Associates... The links page must be generated with a simple search for the company name, and because the Darwin company name includes the string ARC it is being picked up too.

Somehow I doubt that, although I could be wrong.

What do you doubt, Montyphy?

If you do a search in InterNIC for "ARC" it gives you all the ARC machines and all the Darwin Research machines.

But, if you do a search for "ARC " (with a space) you only get ARC.
Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

I doubt that the links on the ARC server, which include Darwin servers, are generated in the same way that InterNIC searches for strings.
