[1.34] F12 - Quit or Crash to Desktop?

[1.34] F12 - Quit or Crash to Desktop?

I've been reaching for backspace a couple times, and accidentally hit F12. The game closes immediately. Is F12 an exit key, or is this a bug?

It's a shortcut. I think, and I'm pretty sure, it's been there since v1.0.
