PeglegPete: I recently bought the game from Direct2Drive.com, The CD key worked but there was no way I could of recieved a "black code card" since I ordered it from the website. They really take long to answer when you submit a ticket so...anyone have any ideas?

Icy? I tried to help from the get go. It doesn't help when the person doesn't specify what exactly isn't working. Afterall, PeglegPete didn't state if the game even asked for a code from the code sheet. Just read his first post, he said he didn't receive a code card, the CD Key (whatever that is) worked but wanted to know how to get the game to work, at what point in that are we suppose to know whats wrong?

If you stoped and thought a bit, you would have seen he was asking for the location of the code card, it's that obvious!

You clearly are a dipshit. I was wery for a reason, past experience. The code card is clearly available in many places but that doesn't stop warezing retards from turning up here asking for it, elaborate stories included.

Did I not tell him to check his install directory? Did I not try to help? I don't believe my first post to him was, "OMGZ WAREZ MONKEY GTFO!!!11". I withheld certain information which would have allowed someone with an illegal copy to play, yet gave enough to help a genuine owner find the code card, so if anything, you are the dickhead here. Seriously, get a fucking reality check. I tried to help but PeglegPete clearly failed to acknowledge it.

Where did you get the game? Is it brand new or second hand? Did you download from a site or bit torrent? What version is it?

Your second responce, still judging.

I didn't want to tell him that incase he had a warez copy.

Then you went on to attack him, telling him it was his choice to purchase from steam, if you had helped him, you would have saved this guy money.

You didn't want to help him because you judged him right from the start.

Like he said, a user forum for the game itself is faster to respond than the merchant, that's why a forum works, even if it's the forum supplied by the owner.

I later told him that if he doesn't have the code card then thats a issue he should take up with the seller since he got it second hand from Amazon.

To LockPic : Thank you for coming to my defense, I thought those same opinions about Montyphy myself even though he is a well known member on the Uplink forums and he was only trying to help without giving out information to a so-called "Pirate" I however did purchase this game TWICE and found out that it was worth it.
