PeglegPete: I recently bought the game from Direct2Drive.com, The CD key worked but there was no way I could of recieved a "black code card" since I ordered it from the website. They really take long to answer when you submit a ticket so...anyone have any ideas?
Montyphy: Ideas for what?
PeglegPete: How to get the game working.
Montyphy: Look in the folder of where you downloaded or installed to for the code card. Failing that, contact the suppliers.
Icy? I tried to help from the get go. It doesn't help when the person doesn't specify what exactly isn't working. Afterall, PeglegPete didn't state if the game even asked for a code from the code sheet. Just read his first post, he said he didn't receive a code card, the CD Key (whatever that is) worked but wanted to know how to get the game to work, at what point in that are we suppose to know whats wrong?

Dude you're a dickhead, big mr protector of the warez. If it were in the warez scene, I can certainly say, so is the card, dumbass.
Can't stand people like you, people who judge before they know all the facts.
If you stoped and thought a bit, you would have seen he was asking for the location of the code card, it's that obvious!
For anyone else who gets this from direct2drive, the code card is in the uplink manual, you'll find this in your install directory.

You clearly are a dipshit. I was wery for a reason, past experience. The code card is clearly available in many places but that doesn't stop warezing retards from turning up here asking for it, elaborate stories included.

Did I not tell him to check his install directory? Did I not try to help? I don't believe my first post to him was, "OMGZ WAREZ MONKEY GTFO!!!11". I withheld certain information which would have allowed someone with an illegal copy to play, yet gave enough to help a genuine owner find the code card, so if anything, you are the dickhead here. Seriously, get a fucking reality check. I tried to help but PeglegPete clearly failed to acknowledge it.
You tried to help my ass, you're a dickhead dude, you judged this guy, plain and simple.
Past experience! you are shareholder are you? you have a direct interest in this type of thing?
How about you take that reality check, because I dont give a shit if he pirated it or not.
If you can honestly say you have never pirated anything in your life, then good for you, but I can say with total confidence, you have!

Your first responce to his call for help, you judged him from the get go.
Your second responce, still judging.
Then you went on to attack him, telling him it was his choice to purchase from steam, if you had helped him, you would have saved this guy money.
You didn't want to help him because you judged him right from the start.
Like he said, a user forum for the game itself is faster to respond than the merchant, that's why a forum works, even if it's the forum supplied by the owner.

You clearly failed to realise there have been two requests for help. One from HazMatBlue and one from PeglegPete. I asked where HazMatBlue got the game, that is not judging him.
I later told him that if he doesn't have the code card then thats a issue he should take up with the seller since he got it second hand from Amazon.
Did you even bother to read this thread properly before trying to slate me? I don't think you did.

I hope you don't mind my saying so, but you clearly failed to realise, that you were up against a troll....

By the way, they still haven't answered my ticket. So you can take back your smartass remarks telling me it was foolish not to wait, Montyphy.
To LockPic : Thank you for coming to my defense, I thought those same opinions about Montyphy myself even though he is a well known member on the Uplink forums and he was only trying to help without giving out information to a so-called "Pirate" I however did purchase this game TWICE and found out that it was worth it.
