CD codes

The copy of uplink I recently bought didnt come with any any CD codes that the game asks me to enter when creating a user, any help with this?

Where did you get the game? Is it brand new or second hand? Did you download from a site or bit torrent? What version is it?

I got it second hand of amazon.com, its version 1.31

I recently bought the game from Direct2Drive.com, The CD key worked but there was no way I could of recieved a "black code card" since I ordered it from the website. They really take long to answer when you submit a ticket so...anyone have any ideas?

Look in the folder of where you downloaded or installed to for the code card. Failing that, contact the suppliers.

Updating to the latest version I think will disable the code card requirement as that's been taken out (or was it just for the Steam edition?). Introversion has been halting all third-party sales of Uplink.

Well because I was unaware of that useful information I bought the game via steam and it works just fine even though I shouldn't of had to waste even more money.

Well the fact is I wasted $19.99 on D2d.com because I didn't get a straight answer.

Thats your problem. You could have contacted them but instead you chose not to wait for an answer from them, which was just foolish since 1) they could have sorted the problem for you 2) they could have provided you with a refund if your problem couldn't be resolved.

We (the community of this forum) do not work for d2d.com. We do not know the exact state in which they sell the game so how can you expect us to provide straight answers? You didn't state whether you had searched the contents of the download or the installation folder for the code sheet. How can you truely expect us to help you if you can't even provide such basic information?
