Fines: Uplink Ripping Me Off!

Hi guys, I received a fine for overdrawing my account, well okies, I'll just pay the fine, right? Wrong.
I transfer the money, like I'm supposed to, but i still receive a "not payed" message when i reply. I know I'm doing this write because i hacked the bank account and can see my transfers in the log, I've now payed upwards of 2500C for a 500C fine! Can someone help me please!

It does go crazy sometimes.
The best way to solve this is not being fined.

Nevermind, I totaled my account anyway, I got caught doing a bank hack and didn't backup properly

Nah, if you don't pay then they'll start a process against you and then i think you'll get an entry in your criminal record. But i think that's all...not sure though. Make a backup and then deny to send the money. Tell us what happens. We(or at least I) am curious.

About the bank hack, Stupid me forgot to cover my tracks for the bank hack. I made a backup about 5 real time minutes before the 'feds catch up with me, I quickly randomly click servers and connect to the bank so i can delete the incriminating logs. Only thing was, I forgot the route through InterNIC

Its almost impossible to save myself, I either get busted for the fine (which i get kicked off uplink for, by the way) or the Bank hack.

Just wondering, If i got a self destruct add-on and a motion sensor could I stop the feds from arresting me for the bank hack, at least?

Whooo! I Just Nuked My Mainframe, got a new one and the fine was gone, And With the money I stole, I can easily afford to restore my system! Thanks guys!

I stole a million quid! then spent so long looking at my shiny new bank balance, (instead of covering my tracks) I never got to spend any:'(
