Uplink Error

Now what does this mean? i don't even HAVE a c:\development folder! This is the most stupid thing i have ever seen... but i never had this problem before... and played the game a whole while... i'm already at the expert level. Anyway, here is the debug:

Maybe i need to go to options. There is an option about the world map...can't exactly remember what it does.

The directory given is the development directory where the source code was stored.  It is to help Chris and the team locate the problem is the source.  Until the DevCD comes out it is of little use to us.  This is a known error, but it is usually not a big deal.  The alternative map will not keep this from happening.  :)

Well if you keep getting the error there may be a problem, but generally that error occurs just once and then you can restart Uplink and keep playing.  Otherwise you may need to start a new user.  :)

Well i think my error is because of the red points on the map when revelation starts... it can't take it or so...but damn...i ain't gonna start a new game! I'd prefer destroying the game CD in little pieces and throwing them out the window >.< . That would be fewer work than to gain another 6 Million credits and my beloved trinity. If this keep happening and i can't make that mission before it does, then i'm just gonna skip the story. I heard there are some special missions outside of the story. Is that right?
