First off, I think this game is kickin rad, and if I can figure out how to fix these two little issues, I will definitely be buying it.  Anyway, on with the problems:

When I run the program, my screen resizes to a lower resolution and the screen comes up.  All seems well.  However, when I hold my cursor over a button, it is not highlighted and I can't click it.  If I move the cursor down below the button however, that is where the program thinks the button is.  I can fix this somewhat by clicking the maximize/restore button on the titlebar to turn the window into a resizeable one, and then fiddling with the position until the buttons "real" locations and their displayed locations line up.  But if I do that, some parts of the top and the bottom of the screen are cut off.  It's still playable, but it would be nice to have the whole window.

The other issue is, when I close Uplink, it doesn't set my monitor back to the previous resolution, so I have to do it manually every time I quit.

Once again, this game looks super sweet, and if I can get these two issues cleared up, then I'll be $33.49 poorer but much, much happier.

-Edit-

I just realized it might be good if you knew what kind of system I'm working with here.

Athlon 1.4GHz
256MB PC2400
Win2k SP3
Radeon 9700
DirectX 9.0a

That ought to be all the relevant specs.  All my drivers are up to date.

I would make sure you also have the latest OpenGL support from Radeon, they generally have a seperate download for that.  Also try deleting the OpenGL32.dll file in the Uplink directory.  :)

Thanks for the reply.  I don't see separate OpenGL drivers anywhere on ATI's site, and deleting the Opengl32.dll from the Uplink directory didn't do anything either, but I found that if I run Uplink windowed instead of fullscreen, it works fine.  So, I guess I'll do that from now on.  Thanks for taking the time to try to help me out, though.  Happy h4xx0ring!
