WTF? My old agents been freaking out.

Ok... I got a bug. And I already sent this to the helpdesk so there.

Was playing the game. Put it on pause after hacking a social security server and half whipping the logs. Then when I came back I had a fatal error waiting. Switched off, rebooted. Guess what? I Open uplink. Click agent Ghost. Then. When it start's loading "connecting to gate way". Crashes! I get the uplink "fatal error" box pls send to Chris. So that's what I do. Any ideas? I've tried all the usual safe mode option tweaks etc...
I've come to the conclusion that after a wile of making one of my agents good... I get a fatal error when I try to log back in. And no I'm not running the demo (just for all you brainiac)

Well you should get the latest patch first.  But what is happening is you're usr files are getting corrupted.  The patch may fix this.  :)

Flex, Weed7, you sound a tad wound up there. I had exactly the same problem. Get all the patches. That should fix it.  You fifth, sixth and seventh agents will be just as cool, nad quicker. But you never get over the loss of the really cool name you gave your first agent.

that can be arranged. you can go to the uplink directory under 'program files', go to the 'users' folder, and delete your 'previouscoolagentname.usr' file from there. after that, you can start a new agent and give him the same cool user name you did previously.
