Academic Database Search

Whenever I try to search the database, it searches to the end without stopping on the entered name.  I can SEE the record flash by, but it always keeps going to the last name.  I have tried adjusting spacing, checked and triple-checked spelling, etc but no luck.  Anyone have any ideas what might be going on (seems like someone else listed this back in Feb but never really got a response).  Thanks!

Everyone I have seen post this has sworn they check everything, but always find they are simply typing it in wrong.  There is no issue with the search that I know of.  :)

You were right, I imagine the mistake most of us make is not erasing the prompt...duh.
