11:00 May 20th, 2010 crash

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem or maybe the fine folks at Introversion will know what's going on.

At around 11:00am on May 20th, 2010, Uplink has a fatal error and crashes. I'm at the point where I can't even click "ok" on the opening screen before it has a seizure of biblical proportions and stops.

If anyone's got any ideas I would appreciate it a whole hell of a lot.

I've installed the patch (running WinXP), so that won't help.

Try starting a new user. :)

Copy your save file, paste it to other computer and continue.
Try copy back again when you pass on that time.
It might work.

I gave up the ghost and followed Stewsburntmonkey's advice. I was wondering why people were talking about LAN software and I couldn't buy it: that user was created before I patched. Now I've got a new one that's way better anyway, so it's all pretty much irrelevant now. Regardless, thanks for your help.
