Startup prob with 1.3.1 patch

yesterday, i applied the patch and created a new agent. when i restarted the game after logging off with the new agent the game took me back to the "register new agent" screen. then when i restarted the game again (i didnt create a new agent) it brought me back to the logon screen.

then today when i started the game i got this error message: "A fatal error occurred in uplink" and then the next dialog said: " the instruction at "0x78a98b44" referenced memory at "0x00000534". The memory could not be "read". "

WTF is wrong??? :angry:

Try unistalling Uplink, deleting the Uplink directory afterwards, and then reinstall and patch.  :)

alright, i tried that, it worked twice and now i get the same error!!!
