Help!  When I start the game I can hear the sound but I'm not getting any display at all .  I've got the latest drivers for my ATI xpert 2000 card.  Windows won't let me open my debug.log file.  Any ideas?

What is Windows doing to keep you from opening the Debug.log?  :)

I've now managed to get debug opened in windows notebook but there's no data there.  Now when I try and open uplink I get the warning - "The primary surface could not be created".  Does this shed any light?

You have a graphics problem.  The primary surface is the way software draws onto the screen.  ATI does not like OpenGL (rather silly of them) and some of their drivers will have major issues with it like you are having.  I would try deleting the OpenGL32.dll form the Uplink directory and seeing what happens.  Otherwise I would email ATI and yell at them.  :)

Ati had a openGL update that wasn't included in it's driver (I don't know why not!)  Anyway - wouldn't have done it without your help!  So you've got a satisfied customer - THANKS!
