Disc wont run on my comp

Put the disc in, churns a bit, cant read it. no error message. Just a huge laggy load of stuff going on with the disc drive and nothing happening.
This is crap.
It works everywhere else, on my other pc's, my disc drive (DVD/CD-RW combo) works fine. nothing wrong with it. never seen this with anything else before.
I want a job as a developer and its hard to get one or make any money out of it if you aren't already.
...Then I pay money for this...

oh by the way, the demo works fine.

I'm not sure, but you may want to try opening the drive (via my computer or explorer) and just starting the installer without using autorun. Sometimes that helps. Also, do you have any processes that could be the autorun (ie: is autorun starting, or is it just churning away without launching anything)?

So because it won't work on one drive, you assume it's the games fault? It sounds like you have a bad drive on your hands.
