Too many bank accounts.

This isn't exactly game-ending, but it's there. So, um, I decided to abuse the system and take a bunch of banks off of Internic and then register at them, giving me even more secure bouncing points. However, they seem to max out at 4 accounts (including Uplinks back), and whenever I try to register at yet another back, the game screws me over and cuddles into a fetal position and screams until I have to reboot.

Meh?

Latest patch, WinXP, trying to register at FirstWave, Geforce2 somethingsomething.

uh, your last sentence aren't exactly my choice type of words but, as far as gaming is concerned, i've never experienced this kind of problem before, i mean being limited to 4 bank accounts. maybe you should wait a little for the other guys to come here and offer you their opinions.

There is no limit on accounts (I always keep an account at every bank in the game for the trace time).  There is a bug where every bank has a chance to generate an error when you try to create an account there.  The only way to get around it is to start new users until you can create accounts at all banks, or just live with being a few banks short.  :)

Ah. Also, would you be adverse to creating a 'Known Bugs' thread and sticking it, so you won't be plugged up with the same reports over, and over, and over again?

We have FAQ threads that no one reads so I haven't really had a lot of hope for a known bugs thread.  People don't seem to read them, and since we can't have sticky threads we have to keep bumping them, which is annoying in many ways.  :)

you can say that again. i've seen some threads which were unposted since last year and even 2001, only to resurface this month cause some wise guy made a response to a post made at least, like, 10 months ago. tsk! tsk! tsk! the things you do for boredom......
