Got Sound working on Linux (KDE)

I recently had some trouble getting Uplink to run with sound on my laptop running RedHat Linux 9. I'm using KDE as a desktop environment, and KDE uses the arts sound server, which seems to collide with the sound of Uplink (at least on my machine).

Here's a workaround I found: start Uplink like this from you Uplink directory:
artsdsp ./uplink

Sound's working now. It lags behind just a little (about 1 second or so), but since it's mainly music and beeps, that's not too much of a problem...
I hope that problem can be resolved properly, once the developer CD is released, though
