I was using the log deleter ver 4.0 on some logs and got a complete system reboot on linux, no warning no logs no errors no kernel panics nothing just complete reboot, I reproduced the error 3 times.

<------rant on--------->
This system is as stable as a very stable, stable thing 24/7 for over 40 days at 100% cpu usage, temps all ok voltages fine, it is not my system, I am very annoyed, I would have thought that this sort of thing would have been ironed out by now.

What with the plethora of other bugs I have found in just the last 3 days since I bought this game, and no doubt the more to come I am not a happy bunny.
<-------rant off--------->

Found that the hud goes all garbled and the names jump aroud like something with St vitas dance some times, I have to quit and start again.

Noe handing you back to your normal broadcast.

Have you downloaded the latest patches?  The map thing is an annoyance.  It can be caused by either having too many servers on the map or loading a saved connection that includes a server you deleted from your map.  :)

Thanx, have latest patch all installed and no bad log messages, maybe did have too many servers on the screen can see why it would go a bit bonkers trying to sort and place.

Sorry for rant but was annoyed last night when it booted my machine, not used to that sort of thing, thought I had got rid of that when I stopped using M$ :)

will persevere with it a bit longer.

Were you logged in as "root" (on the machine you ran Uplink on)?
I'm just a bit puzzled as to how a normal program could possibly crash a Linux system like that. I only experienced system freezes two or three times on Linux, and that was my fault, playing with the graphics driver ;)
