Sorry, I think I put my name in the topic place (hey, it's just my first post)

The topic I wanted to post: Bug in Mac Version

I've noticed a strange bug that makes the game quit at random moments. The problem is that I think it's more or less random but it changes of moment each time I do something different. I just let the time flow at full speed and after few seconds (life time not ingame time) it quits and if I open the game again and don't do anything  it will quit again at the same time. Could you help. I had to restart a character each time to get rid of it for a while.  Thank you for you time (and porting the game to Mac)

Just in case: MacOs 10.2.6 400MHz PowerPC G4 more than 400MB ram.

Many Mac users are reporting those kinds of problems.  I think it may stem from OpenGL problems (ATI has never been very good at OpenGL).  I would first make sure you have the latest drivers from ATI, and then I would make sure you don't have anything else running when you play.  Also make sure Quartz Extreme is not enable, if you have it.  :)

Is the last version is 1.2.20 for the ATI driver? I'm now sure where to see the driver's version. I'll try to ask my admin for that.
I don't use Quartz extrme.
I tried to quit everything else (including the finder) and the bug is still there.
So, it might be that OpenGL problem with ATI card you mentioned.

The latest driver information is here.  You might also make sure you have the latest OpenGL version from Apple.  Many people seem to have this problem so hopefully Ambrosia will get a fix out before they release the full game.  :)
