Ok, here is the deal, ill keep it short. I never bothored to get the first patch and I am currently running on the second patch. I deleted the thrid patch after the fatal error messages started poping up every time on May 12 sometime after noon. The debug.log says the following:

Please help me, I am rank Elite with tons of money (I stole like 2.5million credits during one of Uplinks Bank Transfer Trace missions and kept it for myself). BTW these messages keep happing after the third Arunmor mission (where they ask you to run Revelation on their own server).

ME TOO!
After the third Arunmor (run virus on their internal) my game always crashes.
I can seem to play on normally, yet it will crash randomly. It also crashes if I press the fast forward button, which I need when I'm waiting for a news to pop up so I can complete my mission.
I am running the newest patch, but I never had the first patche(s), I just started off with the newsest one.
How can I fix this problem? I'm rated Professional(agressive) with the best gateway and 800.000c, I really don't want to start over.
The debug.log sais the same thing btw.
Please help.

I already started a new game. Now im having more trouble. GRRRRRRRR!!! I once, a long time ago, enjoyed this game. I have to crash 2 servers in intermediate level, one of the servers i have to destryo is Voxel. It says they wont pay me unless they hear about it in the news. Its already is the damn News board in the game. it has been for a week now. They still wont let pay me and if i click abandon my rank will go down. AHHHHHH!! #q(@*(*^_)&%!!!!! I'm so sick of this, its makes my blood boil. You know this is why people get an anurism in their head. And anurism is when a blood vessel bursts for no apparent reason. The American Medical Association doesn't know why we get an anurism for no apparent reason; THERES A REASON!!! Its the bugs in this game. I have NEVER seen a bug reports messag board be so big for a game since like 8 years ago. Back to my problem. The News board says Voxel server went down like a week ago, im now on day of April 5. And they won't send me money. I got every patch, and i created a new user and i still got problems. akk akk akkk... *dies, otopsy reports an anurism as cause of death. Chris Columbus 1982-2003*

BTW I'm also having problems with the IRC in the game. Is the server still at irc.openprojects.net
cause i go to Lan IRC tab at bottom of uplink screen and well i click on connect and stuff (type in my name and junk) and nothing, i have installed all 3 patchs in sequential order.

As for the LAN thing, the server is now irc.uplinkcorp.net . There is little to be done about your other problems until the DevCD comes out in a little while. Those errors are many times due to bad usr files or bad uplink installations. If uninstalling, deleting the Uplink folder and reinstalling doesn't work than you will just have to wait until we can see where the problem is in the code. :)
