Database searches

Can`t seem to get any results from database searches at social security, universities, which leaves me stuck, do I need a space before the name (I know it is case sensitive )?

also when going to adjust logs at internic am I supposed to be able to highlight the known pass to enter or do I have to enter it by hand, reson is there is a little "square" symbol ( usually a indication of a bad font ) before the pass and I get no respone when I mouseover ( latest 1.31 patch istalled Suse linux).

Nah, in InterNIC you have to type the pass in yourself, which is a bit annoying. The good thing though is you get to be able to type that (pass)word very quickly.

As for the Social Security, just type in the name of the person. So if it was Random Person, then all that should be in that field is Random Person.

as to the database search I found it out, DOH! mea culpa, you have to delete " enter name here" and just put the name in, I thought it was a prompt and was entering the name after it, I will now stand in the corner for 2 hours and not bother anyone

hehe, I'd thought that you'd done that. Most people who have that problem forget to delete the "Enter Name Here" part.
