Fatal Errors

Everytime I play Uplink, should i attempt to reply to an employer, 4 times out of 10 i will recieve a fatal error.

I would ask anyone with knowledge of this problem, and its solution, to please help me out. This is turning what is a great game into a constant stream of accept mission, do mission, quit and save then reply.......please help me!

(btw. could this be anything to do with either the v1.31 patch or having too many mods such as gateways and skins installed?)

It could have to do with the mods.  The likely problem is a corrupted user file, any error is likely to corrupt the user file and then cause a constant stream of errors.  Try making a new user and see if the errors persist.  :)
