Mac demo (maybe) weirdness

I can't get the demo to allow me to complete any database-alteration missions.  Whenever I get into a database, I have two options: Search Records and View Logs (or something like that).  The Search Records gives me a dialog box to enter the subject's name, but no matter what I enter, as soon as I hit "OK" the thing is off to the races, running through every database entry (alphabetized by first name) until it gets to the last one.  I can make changes to that entry, but I can't seem to get to the one I need to change.  Is this me failin gto understand how to move around a database mission, or is there something funky with the way databases are working?

FYI, I seem to recall having the same problem when I was running the PC demo months and months ago, so I don't think this is a Mac issue, but just in case: I am running OS 10.2.6.

That means you are typing in the name incorrectly.  You have to type in the name exactly as it appears in the email.  :)

I'm pretty sure I have typed it in exactly as shown.  Spaces, capitalization, etc.  I'll give it another go, but I'm suspicious.
