My computer crashes every time I play Uplink and gives me a fatal error.... it seems to be random, but I am not sure....
I can usually play for about 10-15 minutes before my computer reboots.....
If anyone have any suggestions, please respond to this post.....
My system specs:
Windows XP
1.7 gHz
512 MB RAM
64 MB ATI Radeon

btw, I have the newest patch and video card drivers....

I would try creating a new user and seeing what happens.  If you still get errors, try unistalling, deleting the Uplink directory, and then reinstalling and patching.  If errors persist post the text of the error message and anything relevant from the debug log (in the Uplink/users directory).  :)

I have created a new user, uninstalled and reinstalled....
I am not sure if I can post the error message because my whole screen goes blue and has some computer text on it for a split second, not long enough for me to figure out what it says....
any other suggestiions?
oh btw, could it possibly have somthing to do with the fact that I have no sound card and that my sound is integrated?  Just a thought

It could, I would get the latest drivers for your onboard sound and see if that helps.  I would also see about dropping the AGP speed of your graphics card by half and see if it help out.  Many times the cards run faster than the CPU and cause the computer to crash, maybe that is what is happening here.  :)

Generally you can do it in the BIOS, but I am pretty sure Radeon has a utility to do this, you might check their website.  :)

In the mean time you might try running Uplink in its safemode.  :)
