RedShirt and the Fine problem

This is for everyone that has the 500C Fine from accidently purchasing from an empty account, even though paying it off with that account, the game still ends.
I heard a comment remarking just clear your criminal record. Except my criminal record is at None, all the up and then I get arrested for that damn fine. So I thought about the program RedShirt, and was wondering if anyone has a good like tutorial on how to get rid of this in the .usr file.  I hexed mine and took a look, and like the 3rd or 4th line it says something like For refusing to pay a 500C fine.
I might do ome experiments(i have a backup, even though this file is useles for the fact that I'm gonna get arrested on it.
If any one comes across anything let us know. I'm sure there'll be some happy peeps. I'll also post some stuff about what I have done. OK, thankx everyone.

even if you remove why you were disavowed, the usr file is useless
all the other data is wiped from it.

Perhaps, Darksun, you can edit what goes on in your game via the .usr -> .txt file.  If you could find that fine in the file, get rid of it, and convert it back, it might work.  But, what's with all the symbols in my .txt file.  I've found that some of it must be disguised text, because a search I was doing in the .txt file show those symbols as text, then when I hit Find Next, the text turned back into symbols...tricky, very tricky.

Yes, I tried deleting those two lines and yep it wouldn't load the game. I'm not really sure whats up. I might suggest creating a new game. Whith some money(very early) create a new account from a nonuplink bank. Then buy like some software that you can afford but with an empty account. Then back up this usr file, and replay the game.  Now you just payback the amount so you have no fine and 0 in that one account.  Then backup this usr file to a different file name, and compare the two files as .hex's. But with this one file comparer i had it would copare if nulls were found, and the file would be too big anyways.  So if anyone with some free time wants to try this. But I will probably work on it too.

i reread what you typed and noticed that i was talking about editing the file before being arrested, not after. Thanks again peeps.
