Whenever I try to increase the speed, the game crashes and a window pops up that says something about "fatal error". It doesn't happen on normal speed, but it annoys me when I need to wait for missions to become available. This is really bugging me (no pun intended). Please help!

Register another user if that doesn't work then reinstall Uplink if that doesn't work ask Stewsburntmonkey.  (Probably corrupt user file)
