Graphic Card?

When I try to play Uplink my resolution decreases greatly and it just shows the windows screen, it does not even go into the game. I'm thinking it is the graphics card which is Matrox G-400 TV, and I have downloaded the latest drivers. I am running XP. HELP!

I would also get the latest sound drivers for you sound card. Also delete the openGL32.dll file in the Uplink directory, if you have deleted it you might try replacing it. :)

Tried that, no dice. This is what also happens. I get two wonderful messages. Message 1: A fatal error occured in Uplink.
Message 2: The instruction at "0x5ed26e14" referenced memory at "0x00000564". The memory could not be "read".
