For some reason, today Uplink refuses to save. When I close it, and re open, it brings me to the last point that I had saved before I saved the last time. There appears to be no way around this, and im pretty stuck, since I can't go on till i can save.

Are you exiting Uplink properly (ie using pressing exit)?  Also restarting your computer might help.  :)

Yes that takes you to the main screen which then has the exit button.  F12 also works, but you cannot use the x button in the upper right if you are running in a window. :)

I have a friend with the same problem - his computer is not displaying the full game scren - He changed his desktop resolution but was unable to clear the problem.  He can not see the exit button, the time clock, or the cpu usage.  He also can only see two thirds of the world map.  he changed the resolution to 600 by 480 which also did not clear the problem.

Can you see the "x" button in the top left portion of the screen?  My friend can't exit the game to save it because he can't see the exit button to click on it.  It sounds as if you can't see the exit button.  is your map displaying fully?

You're right Angel - I wasn't reading your entire post.  I was hoping to solve my friend's issue and burned through thinking this posting was what I wanted - Sorry.
