Uplink crashed on me when i tried to modify a log on InterNIC.
i didnt type anything, just chose one of the predefined ones (i think i chose "delete" or something) ..and now whenever i try to access the InterNIC logs, Uplink crashes on me :(

from debug.log:

An Uplink Assertion Failure has occured
=======================================
Condition : data2
Location  : C:\Development\Uplink\source\World\computer\LogBank.cpp, line 501
============== B E G I N  C O R E  D U M P =================
retAddress = 004AC3F3
retAddress = 00000006
============== E N D  C O R E  D U M P =====================

i guess i have to create another agent, and start over again ;)

u have to enter and ip...

else the game will crash.
not bug but a missing program string
like in vb
<-codestart->
if logmodifier.text = null or logmodifier.text = ""
then goto logmodifier button upressed
else
CRASH UPLINk
<-Codeend->

sounds like a bug to me.. hehe

or is it only a bug when they include the program string, but it does more harm than good? no, wait.. thats what they call a feature, right? ;)

oh well, i dont really mind if it crashes once in a while, too bad it corrupted the InterNIC server..

..now lets just hope it will crash the fed's computers too, when they try to trace my badly modified logs :D
