I have been trying to find my way through some LANs now, but I keep getting stuck:
I can succesfully hack into Auth-servers that are directly behhidn a terminal and disable their locks.. no problem there.
But whenever an Auth-Sterver is NOT behind a termial but directly attached to a HUB, I cannot seem to get my dotted line there and therefore am unable to connect. The same problem applies to a target-server that is directly behind a lock, by the way..
I have tried following the guide, but it tells me to get into a terminal on the subnet... wich fails to work if said terminal is not right in front of the Auth-server. I have spoofed and scanned and probed everything, too, and still no success...
Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong?
