Bouncing off of Terminals?
I am a newby when it comes to this bouncing and what i've been doing is bouncing off of INternic as my first place and then about 15 *Terminals*. I'm not sure if its best to use Terminals or what, I was using them because they were white dots and I dont know, I just thought it was safer but now i'm questioning it. The internic on my map now has a Red Dot as well as another place. I can't check what the other place was that has a red dot because i'm at work atm but what do you guys think?

actually the dots are more orange looking then red, sorry I should have clarified that... What about the question I had about the terminals? Is it good or any safer to only bounce through terminals? I thought that all the terminals were a random phone that I was bouncing through... Heck I don't know what they are lol I just know they are terminals.
bounce through absolutly everything. first as you said use interNIC, next you want servers you have an account on, such as banks and so on, as these offer more time, then you can use the rest, phone, LANs, terminals, PCs, they are all fair game. Although one wonders how you get a connection log off a landline.
BTW, is it true that systems you have an admin account on are better for bouncing than ones where you simply have a user account? Because if that's true, Internal Services Machines are best for early-game bouncing. Once you have the Monitor Bypass v5, you can simply use it, crack the password and disconnect without actually logging in as the admin. That's how I did my pre-hacking, but I don't know if it's actually useful.
Well, it definitely makes the final mission a lot easier because the other two targets are mainframes and banks and it takes too long to hack mainframes and banks trace you too quickly.
