Trace a hacker problem

I encountered a problem with a 'trace a hacker' mission.

I traced the ip's back to 567.477.268.710 / Mark Hawkins (yay for variables!), but when I reply that in the mail, I get a mail back that says this person received money, but is probably not the person responsible... so I have no leads anymore, I think I should check out his bank account?

I checked the uplink 'userlist' program and found out he's an uplink agent, that also means he has an uplink bank account and... uplink bank can't be hacked .


Anyone out there that can help me?

are you sure you start the trace from the access logs in that bank, not the balance log in that account?

I dont think that is totally true, yes you cant hack it because of no sys admin, but if memory serves you are the only one with a bank account in the uplink bank.
