Transfer Missions

Postby vodkaflower » Sun Oct 24, 2010 10:22 am

It could be because I'm dense but... I'm having issues with money transfer missions.

I can get into the account, that's not the problem, but the e-mails from the employer don't give me the data I need to send the money. I only have the account number I'm transferring from, the account owner's name and the balance, however I do not have the required information to transfer back to the employer. How is this mission type then accomplished?

I would have looked through the other threads for information but it's 2:30 in the morning here and I'm too lazy to bother. XD

Well that's funny, we're too lazy to help. Idiot.

I'm sorry... :( I was trying to be civil.

Well after a quick search, I haven't found anything specifically related to my topic other than the transfer not going through, but that isn't the problem. >.<

Post a screenshot of the mission email. You can use Imageshack to host images.

This is the e-mail I was working from. Like I said, I can get into that account without a problem. The rest of the e-mail is just saying that they included a link to the target bank.

What makes you think you have to send money back to your employer?

The mail states that they want you to determine the size of his loan. You're supposed to see how much of a loan the guy has, and send that information (the loan size) to the employer - in the body of the reply email.

And this time they're interested in information about his bank balance.

It's poorly phrased, but they're actually not interested in stealing the balance (I don't even think you can say that), just knowing what it is.

Send them a reply with information about the current balance.

Oh... I apologize again. I was being retarded. I thought they literally meant to "send" them the money. Please ignore me then. I'm really sorry for having been a bother.

Thank you very much for the clarification. That was all I really needed. :3

Don't worry about it, you're not the first - which probably means it should have been clarified in the game and not on the forums.

I think a forum search might have answered your question as well, though. Either way, it's proper forum etiquette to search for answers before asking questions.

Don't hesitate to ask if there's something you don't find answered elsewhere, though.

Understood. Thank you. I'll keep that in mind next time. :3 It's just kind of deterring to ask for help when someone jumps on you like that.

No-one will jump you if you have already made an effort yourself.
