Frame user for destruction of data problem

So here's my problem, I can't get the news server to say that the guy I am framing has been arrested. I logged on to the internal services machine, enabled my different bypasses, cracked the password and entered the console. Once in the console, I deleted the files. Watched my tracer to see how long they had been tracking me. At least 25 secs and I saw the link they were tracing me at and it was right before my InterNIC. I disconnected, and connected to InterNIC directly. I changed the third log, which was the bounce log. Changed who it was from (did this many times so I know I entered it correctly) and deleted my admin log on. The news server shows that the files were destroyed, but never shows the guy that I'm supposed to frame as being arrested and I'm never contacted about being accused or caught by the company and also I've sped up time so I know I waited long enough. Anyone else having this problem and know what it is or how to fix it? Let me know. I followed the Ultimate Uplink guide.

Did the Reinstall work?

I just did it and didn't have any problems. Better lucks next time?
