LAN Help

Postby Baggerschmakle » Sat Jul 10, 2010 9:15 pm

I've opened and probed everything on this LAN up to the 3 locks protecting the main server and I'm not sure on how to open them without using LAN Force. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Connect to each terminal to look for an IP address that will allow you to enter a different portion of the LAN. Also, click each of those locks to find out what controls them.

Latest Uplink patch is v1.55.

No IPs from the terminals and nothing shows up after clicking the locks.

Probing locks only works if they are disabled. I take it you didn't scroll the screen around to make sure nothing showed up?

So I need to use LAN Force? There's no other way to open the locks?

I'm afraid I have to say YES.
I've checked this type of LAN.
The three locks are "DEAD LOCK".
That means there's no Authentication Server to turn them ON of OFF.
And after that, they protect the Main Server.
So the only way pass them is use the LAN_Force.

Try uploading your .usr file to sharebee.com and specify the LAN in question. I may be able to take a look.
