read the uplink help file on this, it doesnt just reveal them, it shows if they have been changed,

also 10 mins after the news came that he is dead is at least a week after the hack, because of the auto email that activates after a week

Um, no it's not. The news of his death came at 21:00 and I now got it so that I am logging in at 21:05 and some odd seconds. There are only 3 entries on the ARC mainframe for 21:00 and one of them is the "Copied RevelationCore 0.7". I am using the Log_Undeleter v1.0, as that is the only version for that program available to buy, on all 3 entries for that time and the 2 that say "Connection from" and Connection established which are right underneath the RevelationCore one do not change their IPs when I used the undeleter on them. I tried tracing that IP address and hit a dead end after 3 jumps.

sounds like you went wrong somewhere, one of the logs from the previous servers is wrong

remember that any of the logs on any of the servers could be changed, so try undeleter on them all

If anyone wants to give it a shot and see what I'm doing wrong you can access my save here

The administrators phone number is at the top of the list, so just get out the voice analyzer and give him a ring. The bounce path is saved on the map, so just click load once you have his voice pattern and log in.

Thanks in advance.

i have already explained, almost every single bounce will have been changed, so therefore you must use log undeleter on them ALL, not just the first in the chain

Well, the first in the chain doesn't even chain when I undelete it.

IT WORKED! I finally got what you were saying. Follow the trail back trying to undelete every one for that time on every server I connected to. On the third jump a log that said someone from an IP accessed a file changed into one that said connected from and routed to and the connection from IP was his personal computer. :D

So, I gather a log that has been modified counts as a deletion then?

Only by the software name, that should probably be changed, but its been this long, and log unmodifier does not sound right to me
