Most likely no as the person I presume you're asking the file from last posted on these forums 2 years ago.
In future you may want to check the date of posts before replying to them as well as quote the post you are responding to so people know who you are talking to.

omg thank u
I have been looking for the save files in vista for a while! I looked all over my computer! Thank you guys a bunch. The file path posted by kingAl up there is exactly correct for vista. I can't imagine why they would keep the data separate.. but oh well I found it thankz : D

Because that's how Microsoft decided things should be done, and is actually the case on many operating systems. It means you can delete the program while being able to easily retain the configuration files and saved games.
Hey, thanks for the code!
This works wonderfully, I'm enjoying studying the code more than playing the game atm.
Not really familiar with shell scripting and C, so this is interesting...
I tried making my own shell script which consisted of two separate files, one which copied ALL the information
in the /home/.uplink file and one which moved ALL that content from the backup back to where it was originally
copied from. The only problem was, it didn't SAVE anything... it was quite frustrating.
Anyway, thanks again, good stuff.

Well the thing is, on the iPad it's easy to hit the wrong button, screwing up a save, and now there was a version update that apparently just invalidated all the hard work on my game. So I'm kind of wondering what the point of a save feature is if the games aren't all that well preserved.
I made a piece of software which should help people out in backing up games, have a look at this thread: http://forums.introversion.co.uk/uplink ... hp?t=39035

Sounds promising. Any easy way to port that to an iPad?
