Finally figured out "frame a user for destruction of da

.. the easy way :D

YEAI!

I bet this is old news to alot of guys here, but anyways:

Bump all the normal nodes
Hack the computer like always, using proxy, firewall and monitor bypass to save time.
Enter console and enter commands:
-cd usr
-delete
-cd log
-delete
Disconnect the server, and start next step at once.

Bump like 7 nodes, that is Internic first, and an easy hack after (i.e. "Uplink Test Machine"), and then 5 more nodes of free choice ^^
And this is the tight spot.
Hack your way in like always, and enter console
Write this:
-cd sys
-delete
-shutdown
And as soon as you see "loading kernel" then disconnect.

Connect your buffer server (the "easy hack"), and modify the log to your destined ip.

Connect to internic, and delete the logs traced to your computer. This way it is "bulletproof", as it is possible to undelete the modified log, as far as I know (but as it has never happened to me before, I bet its not critical to delete the internic log)

If you in any case fail in the last step, you can go back and delete you traces in internic of course.

Hope it was something new to this, and not just old junk ^^

Nope.

It is.

If you thought it was old news, why did you bother posting?

What? Wait a minute.... Hang on a sec.... What the hell is up with your join date? 1904? Did they even have computers back then? :)

As far as the first post here. Yes it was pointless. But it might help some helpless loser out there. Enjoy.

In that posting I was mentioning his duration of time since joined and also how many relevant posts he had made. So that really didn't explain my confusion as to how he changed it so bite me.

It explains why he changed it, and thus, it is entirely relevant. The 'how' is a simple matter of having the favour of an admin.

I think you don't even have to crash the mainframe.. Just delete the files.
