Postby warrenchen » Tue Dec 05, 2006 7:09 pm

Sometimes, I can find somebody accessed file from InterINC.

Does it mean somebody downloaded the log file or what? :P

As far as I know it represents a person or company utillizing the server for a passive trace.

It's just a random log to make it look more realistic.

So does it mean we don't have to delete that log?

Sometimes I will prefer delete that log.. it makes me feel scary :P

No, you don't *have* to delete it, but I prefer deleting all logs there are. Makes it look cleaner

I don't delete it because for the sake or realism if some one passive traced you and found a log only containing a connection from 127.0.01 wouldn't that make it look like someone one deleted all the logs intentionally i actually leave some of mine scattered in (other than the admin access and routed to) I know the PC doesn't care about that stuff but still IRL it would be cleaner and less suspicious trail

Well I tend to modifiy originate and terminateing logs inbetween hacks and point them to others or a bogus server like Uplink Credits Machine.
