ok, first make sure you have any security taken care of by disabling/bypassing the proxy and the firewall
then from the console type the following (don't type in the stuff in the brackets) :
cd usr
delete (wait till thats finished)
cd sys
delete (wait till thats finished)
cd log
delete (wait till that's finished)
shutdown
this will try and reboot the system, and since you deleted all the system files it will crash
make sure you go back to your first bounce point and delete the logs that you left there, or modify them so someone else gets blamed.
then fast forward time until you see that the system was destroyed in the news, and reply to the mission email

By the way, you dont have to wait for the command to finish before going on to the next one. Simply input all your commands one by one and the console will remember what you typed and do each command in order, that way you dont waste time typing in commands! This way, you will be entering commands while its doing something, so no time wasted
Whatever you do, do not make a computer hacker angry.......
I actually have a problem related to this.
I got everything, but when it's deleting "os.sys" it takes FOREVER. I can understand why, but I still don't know what to do. When I start the sys deletion process I have about 100 seconds to do it, and I stick around until about 10 seconds and then disconnect. How long does it take to delete? Also I must have about twenty or thirty points in my connection chain but I just CAN'T get it any higher than about 100 seconds at the start of deletion, what can I do?

Some people talk because they have something to say. Others talk because they have to say something.

you could delete all the normal files in the usr dir, then delete the log files
then delete as much of the sys folder as you can
then reconnect, delete the new logs (takes a second or two)
and then finish deleting the sys files, then reboot
have you tried that?
it takes a bit longer, but you have more time if you do it right

odd that you cant get your tracer time over 100, more connections doesnt necessarily help
what you should do is find all of the banks, and make accounts with them; if you have an account on a system it takes longer to trace you through, that should help. right off the bat, you can get all the banks. if you just get like 5 of them, it takes like 90 sec, so that should help
now that i think about it, it does take a while to delete the os.sys, and yeah, the kernel and boot files come back after you disconnect heh

it doesn't show the 'files deleted' message after deleting the sys files, but you can see when it's done deleting them -> wait until a blanc line appears just under the 'deleting OS.sys' line, then you can proceed to the logs...
had me puzzled the first time too...
