Created an account on every bank available to bounce my connection around from... had the idea of taking out a loan from each one and transferring it to my main account.

Only 1 bank let me have 1000 loan... then I got sent a fine by this other bank for 500, before i went to pay it I checked that bank and had like minus 2500 in that account.

I take it your bank accounts get hacked by NPC agents?

And does it matter if those other accounts demand you pay back the loan? they can't take money from it if its not there right?

I never heard of such hacks, but it's possibe. Then again, I've never attemped to open accounts at other banks; Too much trouble for the effort.

As far as paying the loan, the bank may hire an NPC agent to trace your transfers. Again I never heard of something like this happening, but you may be disavowed by Uplink for "attempting to rob a bank" by not paying your loans.

to much trouble to simply click create account and type in a username and password? If I understand right, this helps slow down the trace when you use the banks as bounce points.


I suppose its not worth the hassle of taking a loan and transferring it your main account, since you will have to delete logs and still hack the bank to delete their logs so they cant trace where the money has been transffered to.
