agent list cheat

hi all

ok so i stole the list and went into the criminal database
i got all the agents i knew the names of and got them all arrested
after a while you will progress up to the skill level required to take on the missions to free all the people you just framed

you get the cash and the qudos

i jumped from 21 to 9th place in the rankings
with only 11 people framed

anyone else tried this way of progressing ??

Never tried it personally.

I've always broken into a bank account (from Trace a Recent Balance Transfer) and stolen all the money. Shot me to #3-#1 instantly and opened up all missions.

i always wanted to complete the game by earning my money with the normal missions, before using this "cheap"way
well, finally i couldn't resist: i had to transfer 1500c (<- lol) from an account with more then 900000 credits on it. well, i REALLY couldn't resist....

Yep it's a cheat

and i'm known for that
i had to abandon a couple of missions and needed to do this again
and guess what ?
yep #1 in the charts after setting them all up again

but it's not really cheating
changing the gateway prices into minus figure
now that's cheating
nothing like getting a new gateway and they pay you !!!!

sounds more like a bug then a cheat, especially the gateway thing.
btw: with charts/ranking you mean the agent's ranking list or your uplink rating (novice, skilled, mage, ...) ?

Yep, oddly the mail was sent on "01:01:01 1 January 1000" and the payment says just 10 credits, although the mail itself states 50000 if I copy all files for them. Never got this when I 'finished' Uplink previously, pretty strange.

Steal agent list, then bust 'em all. Nice way to climb the ranks, and drop your neuromancer rating, not that anyone care about the NR anymore.

As for me, I'll wait untill several companies want a person busted, then when he is, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

heres a hint that any1 should normaly think of...(to avoid accidental spoiling for those who want 2 find it out themselfs like good players, i have made the text black so u would have 2 highlight it to read it) u have lookd at the list(it didnt show the names tho),
who could possibly allrdy have a list of uplink employees... hmm...
