ARC LAN

I'm stuck on the arunmor mission to hack the arc lan. Heres a piccie:

OK, the problem is that I've opened that lock in the centre, I can connect to the two termianls but it won't let me connect to that controller on top of the lock. Its a long time since I played uplink so am I missing something obvious?

Have you looked for valid subnets and spoofed them?

come again? I thought you just used the an spoofer on locks?

The Spoofer doesn't even work on locks. . .

The Spoofer just lets you make a system on a LAN think you are connecting from whichever terminal you spoof. :)

Oh, errr. Right. SO I spoof a termianl and then connect to the top computer?

Check all the Authentication servers (terminals with lock logos on them.)

See if hovering your mouse over them shows a 'Valid Subnet' sign over any other machine.

thats someting i never really understood in uplink, i was always spoofing round till i succeeded :)
