Postby symba » Sun Aug 07, 2005 10:34 pm

good day, and thank you for your time in replying

there is a mission that asks you: "use all means necessary including virus attak / system reset but all data must be destroyed & the system itself must be shut down permenently"

i appreciate your help, and thank you again

get da admins voice print first, then link to thier mainframe through there internal systems link and run the nesacery bypassers to manage it. then do delete everything from usr and sys and then shut it down and our finished. just fastforward through time till it comes up in da news then collect your money

You don't have to erase anything. When you get the mail from ARC with the Revelation virus, just go to the target computer, upload Revelation into their memory (if you can't, just erase something, and then copy it), and type in the console:

cd usr
run Revelation

You're forgetting the log files.

Just usr and sys won't cover all the files on the system.
talk to me about anything Uplink. I can usually help you.

That leaves a [log deleted] line for every single log on the system, giving you the same level of security as a level 1 log deleter. In other words, more or less bugger-all. You'll still need to clear your logs at InterNIC so you might as well leve the ones on the target system.
