Hey there,

I got a problem with deleting the operation system of a Computer. I connect to the LAN, spoof a terminal and then connect to the main server but of course the admin is hunting me down, i got like 60 seconds, I already deleted the files but when i'm trying to delete the operation system (cd sys delete) i get kicked by the admin (in the last 10 seconds) because os.sys is taking ages to be deleted !? Anyone knows how much time it takes to delete this file? And does it matter to bounce through a lot of other computers ? i think not since it's a Local Area Network ... and in the LAN you cannot bounce that good :(

any tips for me how to complete the mission ?

Someone else was asking me about this on MSN the other day, they said the sys files were taking ages to delete - over 100 seconds. They should take longer than most usr ones, but nowhere near that long. If that is your problem, what I suggested to him was downloading the patch and it seemed to work.

So were the files taking a really long time or just longer than usual? To stop the admin booting you off, open the LAN Viewer once you're connected to the main computer and click back until your trail disappears. :)

Thanks for the tip :)

Well I don't know how long that OS deleting will be thats why I asked.
I bounced through lots of computers and got like 100 seconds to delete the sys.... but it's still not enough

Nice tip here! That was my problem.. The sys-admin was tracing the direct route to the mainframe. I just led him on a wrong trail and that gave me enough time to completely obliterate the ARC LAN Mainframe :)

Sorry you can't take the cake and eat it too.

You people say "Use the search feature instead of asking the same questions" so I do. And respond.

Chill. Thanks.
