bug or mission really not finished?

mission:destroy rival software in developement
what to do: just delete all the files you find

I used console to do it:
cd usr
delete

all files were deleted, if i used command dir it would say something like, no files in directory.
i reply to employer of mission. They reply: not enough damage is done.
so i destroy the comp, the console way, it is gone cuz when i try to connect to it, it says: error 404, reply again to employer and he replies back to me the same like the time before....
I only didn't check the news about a message of the destroyed comp

is it a bug or so?

It has to show up in the news for them to know it has been destroyed.
