New Purchaser Of Uplink! PROBLEMS!!!!

Postby --:{proto}:--:{Skrypt}:-- » Sat Jul 24, 2004 4:23 am

Ok, I recognise that the game does connect to another SERVER, from my Machine true?

I've successfully created agents. But, when the game wants me to take the Beginner Test, to perform my first hacker attempt.

I goto put my User&Code in, and it denies my access of it's authenticity, with a 'Invalid Username/Passcode'

The username and passcode, are the same as what you login with at the first of the game, Correct?

Then what is wrong!

Please Reply w/a positive aquesation ASAP!! Thankyou.

If the program uses the internet, and I'm on a DSL Modem+Router.
Would I need to configure that aswell?

I just don't get it...

Somebody please tap a master on his back, with some helpful advice. Thankyou.

You have to hack your way in the uplink test machine.Run the tutorial it wil guide to how to do it.The only place your username and pasword works is on the Uplink Internal Services machine.

all i understood from your previous post was that you hacked a server in uplink using a cgi exploit, how exactly did you manage that?
