Log Deleting Strategies

Postby solipsis » Fri Jul 16, 2004 9:54 pm

I've done peeking at bank records missions and deleting file servers missions mostly(not transfereing to myself though).

So far i've only been deleting logs on systems that i've hacked...but i've been deleting the entire log.

I've put the game on forward for about a year and I haven't been caught.

What's your opinion on this?

The only safe stratergy is to use internic as your first bounce point, and delete the connection routed and password accepted logs with log deleter v4. Don't delete any others. And do it as soon as you finish the hack.

Don't delete any other logs? Why not?

I wiped InterNic's log clean... :p

By the way, are there other hackers in the community that use internic as a bounce point, or are all those connections mine?

Postby Mr Maggoo » Sat Jul 24, 2004 1:18 pm

Why do you have to use INternic when you bounce the lnk?
i've been using other computers for ages and have not been caught.

Thanks

I have never deleted logs from interNIC, but from the server I am hacking. (It may sound unbelievable, but it's true) It may be some bug too...

when you connected to the internic.. a log has been created.. showing.. you have connected and the conetion have been routed to another server.. in the target logs.. only show.. ip of the last bounce point.. and they start a passive trace.. breaking in each server and searching for you.. if you delete the internic log.. they will stop in the internic server.. thinking.. that your computer are the internic server..

and.. why frist bounce point?? because they can make a active trace.. and see your IP.. before you delete your log.. if are the first.. when they see your ip (with active trace) you are disconected.. then the trace tracker.. show the time.. after they acces the internic (or the frits bounce point) logs..
