Fairly newbish question, how come i still get caught even if i delete my logs from one of the links in a chain?

Fairly newbish question, how come i still get caught even if i delete my logs from one of the links in a chain?

This is probably because you either got caught hacking that link in the chain, or the trace had already passed that link in the chain when you deleted those logs.

Whenever you hack anything, you should start your chain at InterNIC.
After you've completed the hack, disconnect and connect straight to InterNIC, and delete your logs there. Delete the following logs:
-Connection from 127.0.0.1 routed to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
-Password authentication accepted

The InterNIC has no tracing, so you'll never be caught for deleting those logs.
