Hey now, i'm sure there was a good reason.
Now there's a whole new one without the massive amount of bump pages, a fresh start :cheesy:

*Looks around*

There is nothing wrong with 20 pages - PB just couldn't resist the close button.

Since I don't know which FAQ will be used more, I shall post this here, as well. Not meaning to "double" post, I just am not certain...

To he who moderates the FAQ, please add this:

Q: How do I crack VDPIN?
A: You can't but a strag. guide can be found at

Just thought i'd point out that typing the above address with instuctions.pdf does nothing (at least for me...) but typing the rest, e.g.http://finmath.uchicago.edu/~wilder/Code/lights then right-clicking and "saving target as" on your computer

a small note; this instruction does work, though i had to "jigger" it a little! ;)
i had to do what it says a few times and i assumed for all odd numbered squares remaining lit,in step 2,the buttons at the top you have to hit are to the left and above the lit one, and for all even buttons still lit you have to click the ones at the top that are; to the left, to the right AND directly above.
Hope this makes sense!!! ;)

"Dude, simmer"  -how about no.
This FAQ was here first, the original would still be here if PB hadn't closed it on a whim a few months back - this is version 3.

Lot's of people point others to it with thir questions. It would have about 80 pages of bumps if it hadn't have been closed.

I still don't understand PB's logic - "This topic has 20 pages - better close it" - I mean, what?!

@poortwistedme - "Hi PunisherBass!!" <in unison, obviously>

(sighes) I guess if it was my FAQ, I'd be a little pissed off to. I'll just shut up, go sit in the corner, and quietly corrode, if you don't mind...

Added

- and please stop calling me FB - makes me think of PB, which, more often than not, makes me think of negative stuff. I don't mind kebabo, Flamekebab or flame, but FB is annoying.

Argh - any more updates?

I have an addition to this part, FB

Q: How do give someone <assorted qualification>? Which field do I put it in??
A: I can't remember which field, but "If in doubt, fill 'em all out", put the qualification in all the boxes, update the record and then reply to the email from the employers.

My version:

A:If they say "This person requires a first class degree"  change the number after the word class in the box graduate qualifications to 1.

If they say "Provide this person with the following University degree", example:
SUBJECT: Media studies
CLASS:1

Write "media studies, class 1" in the box Graduate Qualifications.

If they say "We feel this person scored slightly too higly at his degree. Give him a 3d class replacement.

Do the same thing as in "This person requires a first class degree", but insted of changing the number to 1 change it to 3.

If they say "This person urgently requires a qualification added to his record" like for example 'Btec in it' add that qualification to the box Other Qualifications.
